Generally you can enjoy your time here over the whole year. It hardly rains between November and May (dry season). From June to October, there can be times with heavy rainfalls (monsoon) and the sea is rough (however good surf conditions).

For the travel duration of up to 4 weeks, a valid passport is sufficient. To be on the safe side please inform yourself before you begin your travel at the responsible Thai embassy in your country.

While there isn't a restaurant located on-site. All PapaCrab guests are invited to dine at PapaCrab Restaurant, our beachfront restaurant on Kamala Beach. Enjoy a relaxed lunch by the sea, or join us in the evening for exclusive seafood buckets, handcrafted cocktails and unforgettable sunset views. Our menu combines local Thai favourites with international dishes. As a valued PapaCrab guest, you'll also receive 10% off food and beverages throughout your stay - making it the perfect place to eat, unwind and experience the best of Kamala beach.

Everything is comfortably within walking distance. Various restaurants, bars, car and bike rentals, travel agencies, diving schools etc. are only a few steps away. The localitys Surin or Patong is only a 15 minute drive by car.

PapaCrab Apartments is ideally located just a 5-minute walk from the heart of Kamala. Guests can easily reach the beach, restaurants, cafes, bars, convenience stores and larger supermarkets on foot. Car and scooter rental services, travel agencies and other local amenities are all within easy walking distance, while Surin Beach and Patong are also just a 15-minute drive away.

PapaCrab Private Pool Villas are nestled in the peaceful hills of Kamala, offering a private and tranquil escape. Kamala Beach, local restaurants, cafes and shops are just a 5-10 minute drive away, while the vibrant nightlife, shopping and entertainment of Patong can be reached in approximately 15 minutes by car. It's the perfect location for guests seeking privacy while staying close to Phuket's top attractions.

Bangkok Clinic branch is located right next door to our Apartments. Additional general practitioners are also within close proximity. The Phuket International (at Patong) offers high standard medical care.

Both PapaCrab Boutique Guesthouse and PapaCrab Apartments are located in the heart of Kamala, allowing guests to enjoy easy access to the beach, cafes and local attractions. The school of Kamala is a neighbour to the guesthouse. During recess the children play in the schoolyard, the way children usually do. As with any central location, you may occasionally hear daytime activity or traffic from the main road, more in particular at the Apartments. In the course of renovations, all rooms are equipped now with additional aluminium sliding doors and improved soundproofing.

PapaCrab Boutique Guesthouse and PapaCrab Apartments do not have a shared swimming pool. However, Kamala Beach is just a short walk away.
